In 2019, building a home was already a costly endeavour, with building materials priced at a premium. The onset of Covid-19 further exacerbated the situation as supply chain disruptions and inflation drove prices even higher.
Now that the Covid-19 pandemic has subsided, supply chains have returned to normal, and the demand for building materials has decreased—evidenced by 20,000 fewer building consents issued this year alone. Yet, despite these improvements, the cost of building materials remains elevated.
The primary reason for persistently high prices is corporate greed. Many companies continue to charge inflated prices to boost profits, even though their own expenses have decreased. However, paying these excessive costs is not inevitable.
Our founders undertook an international search to find high-quality, sustainable building supplies that were both readily available and competitively priced. They discovered that professional factory-level manufacturers could provide products superior in quality to those available in New Zealand, at lower prices and with added benefits like expert guidance, high-end specifications, and custom solutions.
We established partnerships and distribution rights, building transparent relationships that allow us to import and supply building materials and custom solutions at lower costs and higher quality than currently found in New Zealand. Although we must meet minimum order quantities, we achieve this by consolidating orders from multiple clients, so you only need to purchase the materials you require.
We manage the complexities and risks associated with importing building supplies, ensuring a seamless and cost-effective experience for our clients.
